My wife and I realized we had to do something about our 30 year old pool that had served us well but was showing its age. My biggest concern was finding a company that was both competent and trustworthy. Mel Schmidt, Billy, and all the employees with Tri-State Gunite Pools exceeded our expectations and did an outstanding job of putting in our wonderful new pool and deck! From the very start of the job it was clear that Mel and his crew knew what they were doing, were on time, told us what to expect next, and were great to work with throughout the process.
After completing the work, the first time I started cleaning the pool I had some questions as I wanted to be sure I didn’t do anything to damage our new equipment. Mel, Billy, and several other employees took the time to come by our home later that afternoon and walk me through the process. What great follow up and customer service!

We hired Tri-State Gunite Pools to replace the LED bulb in our in-ground fiberglass pool. We had contacted several other companies previous to contacting Tri-State and they either did not return our phone calls, or flat out told us they would not or could not do the job because they were unfamiliar with our lighting system or with fiberglass pools. Our pool builder does not do pool service and when we reached out to get some guidance, they recommended Doug from Tri-State. Doug drove about 40 minutes to get to our house to find out that we did not have enough wiring to change the LED bulb on the pool deck. We had to drain the water out of our pool in order for Doug to change the bulb. Draining the pool would take some time, but Doug said he would come out the following day to change the bulb and that he would not charge us an additional trip charge. Very nice and professional guy! We will definitely use this company again for our pool service needs.

Had an in ground pool put in by this company and they did a great job! They where very proficient, on time, always we’re very curtious and very respectful of me and my family while on site with their language and attitudes. Which means a lot to me when having a contractor come into or onto my property. They also finished the job on time and on budget, which rarely happens with most contractors I’ve dealt with before. They also did not leave any trash or building supplies behind when finished either,even down to no nails on the ground! Every last form was taken up and not left in the ground, like other contractors are known for. They were a great bunch of guys I would work with again! So if your looking to build a pool or a spa or even patios, these men are the guys to call. Great job, Tri-State team!

I had heard that some pool contractors sell you a pool, and then subcontract the actual construction to other pool builders. Mel and his team BUILT our pool, and they did a fantastic job.
